Acceptable Use Policy

Effective: May 19, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 19, 2026

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules governing what content may and may not be generated using the Reelva platform (“Service”). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. By using Reelva you agree to comply with both documents.

Automated Content Moderation

Reelva uses automated content moderation to enforce this policy. Every user prompt is screened by an AI moderator (Claude Haiku via the Anthropic API) before any generation job is created. Prompts violating this policy are blocked and not processed. Repeated violations may result in account termination.

Automated moderation does not replace human review. We may also review content manually in response to reports or detected anomalies. If you believe your content was incorrectly blocked, contact us at support@reelva.ai.

Prohibited Content Categories

The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on Reelva. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. We reserve the right to remove any content and take action against any account at our discretion.

1. NSFW / sexually explicit content

Any sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult content is strictly prohibited regardless of whether the subjects are real or fictional.

2. Content involving minors

Any content depicting minors in a sexual context is subject to a zero-tolerance policy. Violations will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities.

3. Non-consensual use of real people's likenesses

Deepfakes, impersonation, or non-consensual use of a real person's likeness in misleading, defamatory, or harmful contexts — including public figures, celebrities, and private individuals — is prohibited.

4. Copyright and intellectual property infringement

Generating content that reproduces copyrighted characters, brand logos, or other intellectual property (e.g., Disney characters, Pokémon, Marvel heroes) in ways that infringe on those rights is not permitted.

5. Violence and gore

Graphic violence, gore, torture, or content that glorifies harm to people or animals is prohibited.

6. Self-harm and suicide

Content that promotes, encourages, depicts, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders is prohibited.

7. Hate speech and discrimination

Content that promotes hatred, harassment, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is prohibited.

8. Illegal activities

Using the Service to facilitate, promote, or assist with illegal activities — including drug production, weapons manufacturing, fraud, or money laundering — is strictly prohibited.

9. Deceptive and misleading content

Generating content intended to deceive, defraud, or manipulate others, including fabricated news, misleading political content, or impersonation of individuals or organizations, is prohibited.

Additional Restrictions

In addition to the prohibited content categories above, the following behaviors are also prohibited:

  • Attempting to circumvent content filters, safety systems, or rate limits through prompt injection, jailbreaking, or any other technique.
  • Using the Service to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or evaluate competing AI models.
  • Sharing access credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties.
  • Generating content at scale for spam, manipulation, or inauthentic social media activity.

Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in any of the following actions, depending on severity:

  • Prompt blocked without processing (automated, first occurrence).
  • Warning issued to the account.
  • Temporary suspension of the account.
  • Permanent termination of the account without refund.
  • Reporting to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice for severe or repeated violations.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content on Reelva that you believe violates this policy, please report it to support@reelva.ai with as much detail as possible (URL, description of the content, reason for concern). We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our moderation capabilities, legal requirements, or community standards. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect.
